Galway's Kennys Bindery Wins at 2023 Irish Family Business Awards
Kennys Bindery was announced as the winner of the 'Printer and Publisher Family Business of the Year' Award at the 2023 Irish Family Business Awards on Friday, November 3rd.
The Irish Family Business Awards is an annual event that showcases and celebrates outstanding family-run businesses across various sectors in Ireland. This year’s awards ceremony was held at The Mansion House in Dublin and brought together a network of entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and advocates of family-owned enterprises.
Kennys Bindery was founded in Salthill, Galway in 1974 by Gerry Kenny. The business is now based in Liosbán Retail Park and is managed by his daughter Caroline Kenny Redmond. They offer services from thesis binding and self-publishing, to photoalbums and books of condolence. They also recently launched their new website, www.kennysbindery.ie.
Kennys Bindery faced stiff competition from several highly accomplished entrants in their category at the awards. There were 26 categories in total which featured an impressive calibre of family businesses that contribute significantly to the local and global economy.
